We’re pleased to share that our Founder and Director, Craig Madders, has been elected Vice Chair of the Association of Retrofit Consultants (ARC).
Craig will be working alongside Co-Chairs Matthew Ratcliff (Domna Group) and Andrew Sutton (Sero). We’re also grateful to David Pierpoint and Jenny Pierpoint for establishing ARC and creating such a strong foundation for the association.
ARC brings together independent retrofit organisations working across assessment, coordination and design, with a clear aim: to raise standards across the UK and ensure every home and every resident receives the retrofit they deserve. Its members primarily support social landlords, local authorities and Tier One contractors, while also helping to shape high-quality, affordable retrofit approaches for the private market.
For Craig, retrofit has always been about people first: better homes, healthier places to live, and outcomes that genuinely improve lives. As Vice Chair, his focus will be on supporting the industry with clear, evidence-based guidance, raising standards, and strengthening collaboration between consultants, contractors, local authorities, social landlords, policymakers and the wider supply chain.
The next few years will be defining for the sector. ARC is well placed to help shape that conversation, supporting its members, informing policy and championing quality as the baseline, not the exception.
