Value Optimised Retrofit (VOR) was founded in early 2021 to meet the requirements of PAS 2035 and PAS 2038 which was introduced to ensure the UK’s journey to reach Net Zero by 2050 was achieved.
Our team is a collective of construction experts with over 20 years of experience in commercial, technical, and operational aspects of construction and energy efficiency, with a shared vision to deliver high quality, fully compliant retrofit solutions at scale.

Projects

Mark Fouracre
Project Manager & Retrofit Coordinator
Mark has worked in various surveying and project roles across the construction sector, most recently for some of the UKs leading insurers.
Mark brings a background in defect analysis and client relationship management. He is a qualified chartered surveyor, a member of the CIOB and has completed his retrofit coordinator qualification and is working towards his DEA.

Jordan Bray
Retrofit Assessor
Jordan comes to VOR with a solid foundation in the building trades, an NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, and nearly a decade of experience in roofing. His diverse career path includes a stint in telecommunications, where he contributed to installing Openreach’s fibre optics.
Jordan is qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor and recently passed his Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings and asbestos awareness. His extensive practical knowledge and ongoing professional development make him a valuable asset to our retrofit assessment team.
Technical & Energy Modelling

Pete Marsh
Technical Consultant
After graduating with a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Coastal Engineering, Pete diversified his skills and trained as a Passive House Designer and OCDEA.
As VOR’s technical consultant, Pete focuses on the technicalities of the retrofit design process.

Robert Dunoyer
Energy Assessor
With nearly four decades in the construction industry, starting as a tradesman and advancing to a RIBA chartered architect, Robert brings a wealth of experience.
Educated with BA honours in interior design and architecture, he led projects in Dubai for over ten years before returning to the UK to focus on sustainable design, including building his own low-energy house. Robert combines practical construction expertise with academic roles, teaching part-time at Chelsea College of Art and running his architecture practice, specialising in low-energy houses.
He is an OCDEA and PSI modeller passionate about sustainable building practices. Continuous learning in the low-energy retrofit market shapes his approach.

Tiffany Cheung
Graduate Retrofit Energy Assessor
Tiffany’s background includes architecture, biology, and an MSc in Sustainable Development in Practice from UWE. Before her graduate degree, she gained work experience in fundraising.
As she joins the retrofit design team, Tiffany will use her diverse expertise to take on the role of a Retrofit Energy Assessor, conducting building energy modelling and identifying efficiency improvement opportunities.

Travis Carrigan
Graduate Retrofit Energy Assessor
Travis holds a BA (Hons) in Sociology from UWE Bristol and a Master’s of Science in Society, Politics, and Climate Change from the University of Bristol. He is also a qualified domestic energy assessor.
Currently, Travis is focused on the coordination of retrofit projects at VOR, where his academic background and expertise contribute to the successful management and delivery of our initiatives.
Retrofit Design

Phil Partridge
Retrofit Designer: Lead Designer
Before becoming VOR’s Lead Designer, Phil built up extensive experience as an architectural technician and construction project manager.
Along with StJohn, Phil is responsible for delivering the design phase of VOR’s projects.

Joseph Clarke
Technologist & Retrofit Designer
Joseph is a registered member of CIAT with a strong passion and background in detailed and technical design. His expertise spans a variety of projects, from historical residential buildings to small-scale developments and work within the healthcare sector.
At VOR, Joseph plays a crucial role in the design team, responsible for design sign-off on projects and leading the company in complex design measures. His breadth of knowledge and dedication to excellence ensure that VOR continues to deliver high-quality retrofit designs.

Kianaz Kohandani
Graduate Retrofit Designer
Kianaz has a background in Architecture Engineering (BSc) from Iran and a master’s
degree in BIM in Design, Construction, and Operation from UWE. Her expertise in
architecture and BIM equips her to contribute innovative and sustainable solutions to VOR Group’s projects.
As a Graduate Retrofit Designer, Kianaz will be instrumental in supporting the design
team with her fresh perspectives and technical skills.

Tiziana Di Ronco
Senior Architect and Retrofit Designer
Tiziana is an ARB and RIBA registered architect with a passion for sustainable and circular design. She has built a career on her interest in sustainable practices, studying at the Centre for Alternative Technology and working on initiatives aimed at industry-wide change. With experience in both small and large multi-disciplinary practices, Tiziana has managed projects ranging from small extensions and domestic retrofits to large-scale commercial and masterplan developments in the UK and globally.
At VOR, Tiziana is a key member of the design team, responsible for delivering retrofit design proposals and leading major projects, ensuring VOR’s commitment to high-quality retrofit designs.

Lily Beasley
Administrator Assistant
Lily joined VOR after four years at Dorset Council, where she completed a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship within her first year. At VOR, Lily focuses on creating systems and procedures to ensure the smooth and effective running of VOR’s head office.
Utilising her strong organisational and administrative skills, Lily plays a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the team’s needs.
