Equans approached VOR to help them achieve energy efficiency in 60 properties.
The project was presented as an archetype-based scheme, but it became apparent that each property was unique and would require a bespoke design to suit the identified measures. The project involved the implementation of measures such as loft insulation, replacement windows and doors, and ventilation. VOR completed the project within the set timeframe and budget, leading to improved energy efficiency in all the properties. VOR Group undertook Retrofit Design on this project.
Process
Our team carried out a thorough design process and comprehensively presented the information to the client, which was beyond what was initially anticipated by the client. One of the significant challenges encountered during the project was the clients unfamiliarity with the PAS 2035 process. Our team took the time to explain the process and how it would be implemented to ensure that the client was comfortable with the approach. The project was successfully completed within the set timeframe and budget, and the property’s energy efficiency was improved.
Equans was pleased with the results and appreciated the comprehensive design process and the presentation of information carried out by our team. The project was also a learning experience for our team, as they encountered new challenges and took learnings from the implementation of the PAS 2035 process to future projects.
