VOR will provide PAS 2035 consultancy services, including retrofit assessment, coordination and retrofit design for approximately 250 mixed-measure properties.

Bromford’s share of this grant, worth around £3.5 million, will allow energy efficiency upgrades to their homes over the next two years. The project aims to help improve the warmth and comfort of Bromford residents’ homes while reducing energy usage and carbon emissions. Upgrades will include insulation, new windows and doors, and potential renewable energy sources like solar panels.

Bromford aims to achieve at least an Energy Performance Certificate rating of C in all their homes by 2028, ahead of the UK government’s target of 2030. This project will help to bring some of their poorest performing homes up to the same standard. By improving the energy efficiency of homes, residents can spend less on heating and electricity costs and stay warmer in their homes during the winter months.

VOR is committed to providing high-quality retrofit services. We are delighted to work with Wates, who have established themselves as a PAS 2035 retrofit delivery leader. This project is an exciting opportunity for us to reduce carbon emissions in social housing and make a positive difference for Bromford residents.
