What is PAS 2038

What is PAS 2038?

The Climate Change Act, as amended in 2019, commits the UK to ‘net zero’ by 2050. The built environment accounts for roughly 40% of UK greenhouse gas emissions, with around 20% of this coming from non-domestic buildings, according to the Climate Change Committee.

What is PAS 2035?

PAS2035 is a framework for the design and delivery of energy retrofit measures to existing buildings in the UK. The UK Government has highlighted the retrofit of buildings as an integral part of their strategy to achieve 68% carbon reduction by 2030.

VOR working with WECA

VOR is really excited to be working with the West of England Combined Authority undertaking a technical monitoring role on Phase 2 of the Local Authority Delivery scheme (LAD 2). The scheme aims to improve the energy efficiency of homes of low-income households living in the South West area.

How to get bid ready for Wave 2.1 of the Social Housing Decarbonation Fund (SHDF)

Guidance for Wave 2.1 of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) has been published by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). This guidance, currently published in final draft form, will now go through a period of clarification which will enable the sector to get visibility of what is intended for wave 2.1 and to get #SHDFbidready
